If you struggle to put socks on, then the Foxy wide sock aid is for you! This small but mightly daily living aid helps you put socks or stockings on especially if bending or reaching your foot is difficult.

The long cotton tapes make it easy to use from a seated position, thus reducing the need to bend at the hip or knee especially post surgery.

The sock puller is a strong, shaped, flexible plastic core. Wide enough to accommodate larger or swollen feet without stretching hosiery unnecessarily. A notch either side helps to hold hosiery in place while pulling up around the foot and leg.

How to use:

Slide your sock all the way to the top, leaving space for your foot to slide in.

Holding on to the tapes, pop the Soxon on the floor.

Use one foot to hold in place and slowly wiggle your other foot in. Make sure you get your toes right to the end of your sock before you start to pull up.

No need to bend over as you pull the Soxon up your leg. A wrinkle free sock and cosy toes.

  1. Measure your foot length in cm.
    • You may find it easier to trace the sole of your foot (including orthotic if you wear one) on a piece of paper no the floor. Keep the pen as straight as possible for the most accurate drawing. Then measure from the back of the heel to the end of the longest toe.
  2. On the size chart below (adults or kids), find the foot length closest to yours.
    • If your foot length is between sizes , choose the bigger size.
  3. Measure around the widest part of your foot (at the base of the toes where they meet the foot) in cm.
  4. On the size chart below (adult or kids), find the width closest to yours.
    • If your foot width is between sizes, choose the bigger size
  5. If your width and length correspond to two different shoe sizes you will need to choose the bigger shoe size.
  6. For particularly wide feet or AFO wearers, you are likely to measure one to two sizes larger for width than length
    Removing the insole will add an extra approx 1.3cm in width (adults) and 0.8cm in width (kids)
